At Lynchet Close our school dinners are supplied by the Cedar Centre and served hot on the school premises. The school dinner menu offers a variety of delicious food – if your child has any allergies or food intolerances, please contact the school office.
At Dyke Road our pupils can order a packed lunch which is supplied by the council’s Schools Meals Service based at Carden Primary School.
Dinners are £2.10 per day (for both hot meals and packed lunch option) and you can pay on line through Parentpay, or pay cash in advance of school meals being taken. To use Parentpay you will need a log in and password information which can be obtained from the school office team.
If you think your child is eligible for Free School Meals, please follow this link http://www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/content/children-and-education/schools/free-school-meals to apply. We may be able to access more funding to support your childs education if they are eligible.
If your child prefers to bring a packed lunch to school we ask that it does not contain any energy or fizzy drinks and that sweets and chocolate are also not included. To encourage healthy eating in our school we suggest that fatty snacks such as crisps and meat/pastry products should be limited: cakes and biscuits (small portion) are fine as part of a balanced meal. Water is always available at lunchtime and during the school day and can be provided in classrooms also.
