Management Committee Responsibilities
As part of the SEND /SEMH Review, The Pupil Referral Unit and The Connected Hub have formed a merged Management Committee in March 2018.
Brighton and Hove Local Authority have established a Management Committee to run the Pupil Referral Unit and have made provision for the constitution (including composition) and procedures of the Committee and have additionally delegated specific powers to the Committee.
The Management Committee has a strategic role setting out and monitoring the aims and objectives of the PRU to ensure children are safe, have their needs met and receive a good standard of education.
The Management Committee meet six times a year and in between carry out monitoring activities through school visits.
